The aim of the Master of Public Administration program at SANGU is to develop the skills necessary for a student to exercise managerial powers in public administration based on the knowledge gained during the Bachelor’s studies. The program has been developed taking into account the national qualification document, the requirements of the field and the challenges in the field of modern public administration. It contains training courses on the most important and topical issues in the field of public administration. Leading specialists in the field participate in the implementation of the program, the program is led by Doctor of Law, Prof. Paata Turava.
This curriculum will develop student decision-making and problem-solving competencies based on skills such as independent learning, teamwork, interdisciplinary thinking, and communication skills. Equipped with this knowledge, the graduate must play an active role in the successful implementation of the civil service reform process. The public administration program is interdisciplinary and develops the skills and competencies necessary to implement public services.
Prof. Paata Turava believes that when choosing this program, the student should understand the essence of public service and its obligation to exercise its official authority based on the principles of public service and protection of public interests.
