On August 2, Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates St. Elijah and St. Ilia the Righteous commemoration day, who are patron saints of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.
Thanks to the varied talents bestowed by God, there is no field in the development of which His Holiness and Beatitude did not make a great contribution, especially paying special attention to the development of the educational space for the spiritual and intellectual upbringing of future generations.
