II-V Semester Bachelor’s students have the opportunity, to choose additional minor programs.
What is a minor program?
Instead of taking the free credits / elective courses provided in Bachelor’s program, the student masters an additional specialty.
In such a case, the diploma issued in the name of the student shall indicate:

  • Major specialty (in which the graduate is awarded a qualification)
  • Minor specialty

Taking into account the requirements of Georgian legislation the offer does not apply to students of a regulated (law) Bachelor’s education program.

The goal of the minor program is to get the student to spend a minimum amount of time on the learning outcomes indicated in the major, or 240-credit Bachelor’s program. Additional program subjects are selected from the core 240-credit Bachelor’s program core courses.
The knowledge and skills provided by the additional specialty are fully sufficient for the successful continuation of studies in the given field in the Master's degree and/or starting a career.

The School of Business, Computing and Social Sciences offers 48 ECTS credit additional (minor) specialties in the following areas: Business Administration, Computer Science, Tourism Business.

  • After completing an additional (minor) business administration program, the graduate can analyze current business developments, participate in the distribution, sales, financial resource planning process based on a general study of the economic, financial, managerial, marketing and legal environment.
  • The goal of the Computer Science program is to give the student the basics of programming and algorithms, to develop programming skills, and to develop algorithmic thinking. Graduates can be employed in areas such as government agencies, educational institutions and various property organizations that require IT specialists. The acquired knowledge is enough to continue studying for a Master's degree.
  • The goal of the Minor Tourism Business program is to enable graduates to analyze current events and processes in the tourism business, to prepare them for employment in the tourism business sector (hotel business, travel agency, local tourism authorities and the resort sector).

The School of Humanities and Law offers an additional 54 ECTS credits in International Relations (minor) program.

  • Upon completion of the International Relations (minor) program, the graduate can discuss basic theories in the field of international relations; Analyze the role and importance of international organizations in the modern international system; Have the ability to evaluate political processes and draw reasoned conclusions; Participate in debates and discussions about current political events in the modern world; Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze research problems.
