Within the “Discover Your Profession” project, SANGU launched mock criminal law proceedings for 11th and 12th grade students, combining practical training with real-case simulations. The project continues with preparatory sessions and a final mock trial.

“Discover Your Profession” – Criminal Law Track: First Session and Upcoming Stages

Discover Your Profession project – first session Mock criminal law proceedings at SANGU

Within the “Discover Your Profession” project, organized by St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University, the first session has already been held for 11th and 12th grade students interested in the field of criminal law.

During the session, participants began the preparatory phase for mock proceedings and explored key topics in criminal law, including defendants’ rights, general principles of case handling and investigation. The meeting focused on practical engagement and helped students better understand the specifics of the legal profession.

The project continues and includes the following upcoming sessions:

  • 12 February, 16:00 – Preparatory training session
  • 16 February, 16:00 – Introduction to the facts of the case and case materials
  • 20 February, 16:00 – Mock proceedings held in a specially designated courtroom


The aim of the project is to help high school students gain practical insight into criminal proceedings and test their abilities in conditions that closely reflect a real professional environment.
