During the visit, students explored Georgia’s centuries-old cultural heritage and unique artefacts. They showed particular interest in the exhibition of hominid remains, the Gold Treasury, exhibits of Colchian culture, and other significant collections reflecting the historical and cultural development of the country.
Educational Visit to the Georgian National Museum
Students of the History and Georgian Philology educational programmes of the School of Humanities and Law, within the course “History of Georgian Culture”, organised by Associate Professor Khatuna Kukhalashvili, visited the Georgian National Museum.
During the visit, students explored Georgia’s centuries-old cultural heritage and unique artefacts. They showed particular interest in the exhibition of hominid remains, the Gold Treasury, exhibits of Colchian culture, and other significant collections reflecting the historical and cultural development of the country.
The visit made a strong emotional impression on the students. They noted that such practical visits and direct engagement with museum exhibits play an important role not only in deepening academic knowledge, but also in fostering interest in cultural heritage and strengthening national identity.
