St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University Offers:
St. Andrew the First-Called Scholarship — 150 GEL (net, after taxes);
His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II Scholarship — 125 GEL (net, after taxes).
Scholarship Eligibility
The St. Andrew Scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest academic performance across the university. The Ilia II Scholarship goes to the student with the second highest GPA.
In case of a tie, priority is given to the student with greater community involvement.
Each student may receive only one scholarship — the one with the higher financial value.
Scholarship Distribution
Scholarships are awarded at the beginning of each academic semester.
They are issued monthly throughout the following semester — from March to September for spring and from September to March for autumn.
Scholarships are transferred monthly to the student’s bank account unless suspended or terminated by a rector’s order.
Suspension and Termination
If a student’s status is suspended, the scholarship is automatically put on hold and resumes once the status is reinstated within the same semester.
In case of financial hardship or force majeure, the rector has the authority to suspend scholarship distribution with prior written notice.
Scholarships may be terminated for the following reasons:
Termination of student status
Frequent absences from lectures/seminars
Violation of the university’s internal regulations or code of ethics
Personal request
Harming the university’s reputation
The school council submits a formal request to the rector regarding suspension or termination. Termination takes effect from the following month after the order is issued.
