Academic Calendar:
Academic and Administrative Registration:
Each semester, students must complete both administrative and academic registration. Academic registration involves selecting courses through the UMS system and is only available after completing administrative registration.
Registration must be completed according to the academic calendar and university regulations. Course changes are allowed during the designated period.
Registration for Additional Semesters/Courses:
Students may register for additional semesters after exceeding the standard program duration or may add new courses or retake previous ones.
An application must be submitted through the UMS system in both cases.
Mobility/Internal Mobility:
Mobility: After one year of study, students may transfer to another accredited higher education institution. Registration is available through students.emis.ge. Upon acceptance, students must submit a written application and personal file copies to the receiving institution.
Internal Mobility: Students may switch programs within the university from their first semester. Applications are submitted via the UMS system.
Student Rights and Responsibilities:
Students have the right to receive quality education, consult academic staff, participate in research, access scholarships, and use university resources equally.
They may also join or establish student organizations, participate in elections, and express their opinions freely. Complaints can be filed if necessary.
Status Restoration, Suspension, and Termination:
Restoration: A student may request restoration of status before final exams, provided they had completed academic registration. Application is done through UMS.
Suspension: May occur due to financial debt, health issues, study abroad, pregnancy, or personal request.
Termination: Occurs when maximum suspension period is exceeded, false documents are submitted, code of ethics is violated, mobility to another institution happens, or the program is completed.
