A dialectological field practice took place in Zemo Imereti, specifically in the villages of Gezrul and Ushakhelo in June, organized as part of the "Georgian Dialectology" course, allowing the SUNGU students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
Students recorded local speech, discovering unique word forms, toponyms, and vocabulary related to beekeeping and cooking. They will analyze five hours of audio-visual material and prepare a "Student Field Practice Report."
