Mariam Kvernadze, a graduate of the Higher School of Translators and Interpreters of the Georgian University, participated in the contest announced by the presidential administration to win the Elisabeth Orbeliani Award for the best Georgian student translation, along with students from various Georgian universities. She is among the finalists.
On July 8, the awarding ceremony of the competition winners was held in Orbelian Palace. The President of Georgia, Ms. Salome Zurabishvili, congratulated the participants on their victory in the competition and spoke about the importance of translation work. She thanked the participants of the event and wished them success.
