SANGU graduation course students visited the Constitutional Court of Georgia in Batumi, the purpose of which was to get acquainted with various material-legal and procedural-legal issues of constitutional control and to observe the practical aspects of constitutional proceedings.
Merab Turava, Chairman of the Constitutional Court, spoke to the students about the function and purpose of constitutional justice, explained the main principles, specifics and difficulties of the activity of the Constitutional Court.
The students also learned about the summer school in the Constitutional Court, the purpose of which is to deepen the professional knowledge of future lawyers in the issues of constitutional control and constitutional protection of human rights.
