On March 19, a follow-up working meeting was held at SANGU within the framework of USAID’s “Education for the Future” program.

This time, the “Education for the Future” working group met with the academic and administrative staff of Saint Andrews Georgian University to discuss the development of training programs for education leaders. SANGU representatives shared their vision and discussed possible ways to participate in the program's implementation.

Ekaterine Slovinski, the program’s Senior Higher Education Advisor, explained that the training programs developed under the project may be transformed into master's degree programs in Education Administration. These would be designed for current and future education administrators, as well as personnel working in leadership roles. With the help of various educational modules developed within the program, active education administrators will be able to enhance their qualifications in their chosen areas.

As part of the USAID “Education for the Future” program, a memorandum of cooperation was recently signed between Arizona State University (USA) and partner Georgian universities. The aim is to support the development of teacher education and education science programs in Georgian universities.
