SANGU Business Administration Students Earn CERGE-EI Certificate

Thirteen students from the Business Administration program successfully completed a 5-credit elective course in English titled “Labor Economics.”

Within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation between CERGE-EI—a joint foundation of Charles University in Prague and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences  - and St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia, thirteen students of the Business Administration program successfully completed a 5-credit elective course in English titled “Labor Economics”, held from October 28 to December 5.

The lecture-seminar sessions were conducted online and included not only SANGU students but also participants from various European universities. The seminar component was divided into two stages. The first stage was conducted by Czech specialists, while the second stage, which focused on lecture discussion, test preparation and analysis, and assignment support, was led by SANGU professors Nino Damenia and Iza Gigauri.

It is worth highlighting that SANGU students successfully passed both the midterm and final exams and were awarded certificates. Professors Damenia and Gigauri played a significant role in their achievement.

This marks the first instance of SANGU students completing such an international course. We congratulate the Business Administration students on earning the CERGE-EI certificate and hope that this collaboration will continue in the future, inspiring even more students to participate in the program, earn academic credits, and receive internationally recognized certification.
