On March 13, 2025, as part of the “Discover Your Profession” project, St. Andrews Georgian University hosted a training session for 9th–12th grade students titled “The Legal Profession.” The session was led by Ketevan Khurtsilava, an experienced legal professional, who introduced students to the fundamentals of the profession and career development opportunities.
The training aimed to familiarize students with the specifics of a lawyer’s role and to support them in their professional orientation. During the session, participants explored the following in detail:
The training was conducted in an interactive format - students actively asked questions, listened to real-life examples, and received practical advice on how to begin a legal career.
Ketevan Khurtsilava placed special emphasis on the personal qualities essential to being a lawyer, such as communication skills, critical thinking, argumentation, and a strong sense of responsibility.
At the end of the event, participants thanked the university and the speaker, noting that the training gave them greater motivation and clarity in planning their future careers.
