On May 27, 2025, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University hosted the Tech Employment and Career Forum — an event that brought together technology companies, students, and graduates in one space. The goal of the forum was to connect participants with practical career opportunities aligned with the demands of today’s job market.
The event generated strong interest from both employers and young professionals. The forum featured the participation of both local and international tech companies actively seeking new talent in the field of information technology.
Several SANGU students were offered employment as a direct result of the forum, while many others received promising offers and real internship opportunities. In addition to these tangible outcomes, the event fostered direct dialogue between students and employers.
At the conclusion of the forum, SANGU signed a partnership memorandum with the international outsourcing company Webiz International. This collaboration aims to expand practical training, internship placements, and employment opportunities for students.
The Tech Forum reaffirmed SANGU’s growing role not only in academic education but also in promoting integration between higher education and the technology sector. It served as a key platform for professional orientation, career development, and long-term partnerships.
