On May 27, 2025, a meeting was held at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University with Professor Nestan Sulava, Doctor of Philology and faculty member of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
During the event, Professor Sulava shared her extensive experience with students and the academic community, covering both scientific research and the supervision of doctoral and master’s theses. She discussed current standards and practices in academic supervision - particularly valuable for students considering academic careers.
The meeting also included the presentation of her newly published monograph titled "Georgian Literature of the 4th–10th Centuries", which reflects years of dedicated research and focuses on the early period of Georgian literary tradition.
Professor Sulava is a distinguished scholar in the field of Georgian hagiography and medieval literature, author of hundreds of scientific publications and nearly twenty monographs.
