On October 23, at SANGU, organized by the Employment and Career Development Service, a meeting was held between Computer Science students and representatives of the IT company “Solvit”.
The company’s Commercial Director, Levan Mirchiladze, and Technical Director, Nikoloz Katsitadze, shared information about Solvit’s activities with the students and discussed various areas within information technology and employment opportunities in the field.
After the information session, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Saint Andrews Georgian University and the IT company “Solvit”, which aims to implement joint educational projects, share resources, and support the training of highly competent professionals.
Within the framework of the memorandum, it is envisaged to introduce modern methods of theoretical and practical teaching, gain work experience in parallel with studies, encourage research activities, and develop practical skills.
This initiative is another step toward deepening cooperation between the university and the private sector, representing significant progress for the quality of teaching and for students’ professional development.
