On October 30, 2025, a meeting was held at St. Ilia the Righteous Hall of St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University (SANGU), organized by the Office of Research and Development. The session brought together academic staff and representatives of the University’s administrative departments.
The topic of the session was “Publication in International Scientific Journals.” The presentation addressed the full cycle of writing and publishing a scientific article, from the research idea to publication, along with practical guidance on topic selection, structuring, citation rules, journal selection, and the peer-review process, as well as ethical standards in research.
Participants were introduced to lists of international journals across disciplines, relevant databases, and rankings, helping them identify suitable platforms and plan effective publication strategies.
The purpose of the meeting was to support faculty in improving research quality and increasing engagement in the international academic community. Attendees and administrative representatives shared experiences and discussed the challenges of publishing in international journals, as well as the informational and consulting support offered by the Office of Research and Development.
