Scientific Conference Dedicated to the 1700th Anniversary of the Spread of Christianity in Georgia

On 19 December 2025, a scientific conference was held at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University on the initiative of students of the Bachelor’s Program in History of the School of Humanities and Law. The conference was dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the spread of Christianity in Georgia.

Presentations were delivered by students of the Master’s Program in Georgian History and the Bachelor’s Program in History. The presented research papers addressed various versions of “The Conversion of Kartli”, the life of Saint Nino, and her connection with pre-Christian religious and intellectual systems.

The conference served as an important academic platform for students to present their research findings, engage in in-depth discussion of historical topics, and promote scholarly dialogue.
