Students of the International Relations educational program at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University, Marta Lomashvili and Alexandre Lobjanidze, took part in the student conference “Diplomats”, which was held on 19 December 2025 at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of Georgian Technical University.
The conference was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Mamuka Giorgadze, the Deputy Dean, Professor Tamta Ghlonti, and the Head of the Department of International Relations, Professor Tamar Kiknadze, who welcomed the participants and wished them success.
The conference brought together students from Georgian Technical University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Sokhumi State University, and St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University.
Bachelor’s and Master’s level students presented their papers. The topics covered the lives and activities of prominent diplomats of the modern era, as well as diplomatic practices and figures from earlier historical periods. Special attention was given to Georgian diplomats, including the role and contribution of women diplomats.
At the conclusion of the conference, participants received certificates of participation.
