As part of the “Discover Your Profession” project, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University hosted a meeting focused on Psychology for students of grades 10, 11 and 12.
The meeting was led by the Head of SANGU’s Bachelor’s Program in Psychology, Professor Dimitri Nadirashvili. Representatives of the Faculty of Psychology also participated: Rusudan Kiladze, Khatia Gogoladze and Ucha Macharashvili.
The meeting covered the development of psychology worldwide and in Georgia, the psychology of personality development, factors influencing human life and the stages of child development. Special attention was given to presenting psychology as both a scientific discipline and a profession, as well as supporting students in the process of making career decisions.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussion and deepen their understanding of study and professional development prospects in the field of psychology.
