On April 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM, an International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the distinguished scholar and public figure, Academician Shota Nadirashvili, will be held at the St. King David the Builder Conference Hall of St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia.
The conference is organized in collaboration with St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University (SANGU), the Faculty of Psychology of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Faculty of Psychology of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, and the Georgian National Gestalt Institute.
The event will bring together Georgian and international researchers and will feature a wide range of presentations across various fields of psychology, including attitude theory, Gestalt therapy, metacognitive processes, and contemporary issues in neuroscientific research.
The conference will include plenary and thematic sessions, where both theoretical and applied studies will be presented. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and share professional experience.
At the end of the day, an award ceremony is planned, during which the Italian guests participating in the conference will be honored for their outstanding contributions to the science of psychotherapy: Professor Raffaele Sperandeo - psychiatrist, psychotherapist, PhD in Behavioral Sciences, Professor at the University of Basilicata (UNIBAS), Full Professor of F.I.S.I.G., and Director of SiPGI; and Lucia Luciana Mosca - psychologist, psychotherapist, music therapist, and pedagogue, researcher at Phenomena HUB APS, Clinical Manager of the Adolescent Service at ISM, and faculty member of SiPGI.
The conference serves as an important platform for strengthening international collaboration in the academic and professional fields and contributes to the advancement of contemporary knowledge in psychology.
