SANGU students Ana Kopaliani and Luka Kiparoidze participated in the Erasmus+ Sport international project CYCLEPATHS (Cyclepaths Training of Trainers), held from March 28 to April 3, 2026 in Muğla, Turkey.
The project aimed at promoting cycling culture, training trainers, and sharing modern approaches to working with youth.
Within the project, participants were engaged in diverse educational and practical activities. One of the key components was the planning of cultural cycling routes, where participants worked on developing tourist cycling routes based on the cultural heritage sites of Muğla and presented their ideas through group presentations.
The practical component included a cycling tour along the route Narlı Kahve - Karabağlar Yayla - Muğla Konakaltı Culture Center. Despite challenging weather conditions, participants successfully completed the route, gaining valuable experience in teamwork and adaptability.
As part of the project, a meeting was held with representatives of the Menteşe Municipality, where opportunities for local cooperation and the development of sports initiatives were discussed.
The project was implemented במסגרת ERASMUS-SPORT-2025-CB program and provided participants with valuable practical experience, enhanced professional skills, and active involvement in international sports and educational initiatives.
