
On April 25, 2026, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University hosted an event dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the School of Translation and Interpreting.
The School of Translation and Interpreting has been operating since 2011 and has trained more than 100 graduate practicing translators and interpreters during this period.
The School has been headed by Professor Otar Mateshvili since its foundation. Under his leadership, the program has significantly developed and established itself as an important educational platform for training professional translators and interpreters.
Special attention at the event was given to the history of the School’s foundation and its role in the Georgian educational space.
The successful work of the School is ensured by highly qualified academic staff with many years of experience, who play an important role in students’ professional development and in maintaining the high quality of the program.
