Tourism business students Vakhtang Kipiani and Zakaria Davreshidze will undergo a 3-month internship in hotels located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
- How were the students selected, what are the criteria?
Zakaria Davreshidze: Bachelor’s program of Tourism Business includes a mandatory internship in a hotel. The head of the program is Professor Niko Kvaratskhelia, who has a great contribution to the implementation of this program. The next requirement is knowledge of the German language at the basic level.
- How do you imagine the practical application of the theoretical knowledge obtained at the university during internship, will this knowledge help you and what kind of practice will it be in particular?
Vakhtang Kipiani: I am sure the practical knowledge and experience gained in Germany will help me a lot. It will help me even in communications, it will increase our self-confidence. We will get acquainted with the level of service, compare, evaluate, analyze.
- What are your expectations?
Zakaria Davreshidze: First of all, I think I will gain the skills in what the German people are famous for - it is their work ethic and punctuality, as well as practice will help me to strengthen my theoretical knowledge and, in general, I will get a good and necessary experience.
How do you feel before leaving?
Zakaria Davreshidze: I am motivated and in a positive mood.
