Intuitively I felt that sooner or later I would be in the field of jurisprudence, I liked reasoning, finding precise arguments, rules of logic, a little bit of philosophy and even psychology. After graduating from school, I started working in the Supreme Court of Georgia. I won a U.S. government grant for young sciences and traveled to Wayne State University (Michigan) for academic work. In 1998 I was elected as a member of the Council of Justice of Georgia, I was the only woman on the board. I have been living abroad (in France) since 1999, it was a very active creative period.

A field specialist, in order to raise a proper future generation, must have a thorough knowledge in the relevant field. The lecturer should have broad viewpoint, must be constantly informed of news in all fields of law; It is also important that the lecturer has some in-depth knowledge of international standards in relevant matters, or the specifics of the law of other countries.

The ability to convey information is important; The lecturer should speak in an understandable language and make it easier for the student to adequately understand what is being said. Unlike other universities, an important privilege is the opportunity to study the law of the European Convention on Human Rights in depth. We have given it the status of a compulsory subject. Much attention is paid to the study of a foreign language (especially English). It is also very important that the university cares about the employment of graduates.

My advice for students majoring in the law would be to love the profession of a lawyer. The well-being of the public heavily depends on the legal system that lawyers create and enforce.
