On June 20, 2025, students of the Special Education Teacher Preparation Program at Saint Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia visited Tbilisi Public School N202 as part of their academic field trip. The purpose of the visit was to explore the educational environment created for blind and visually impaired students and to raise students' awareness to support the social integration of these learners.
The students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with learning materials designed for blind and visually impaired students, as well as assistive technical devices (such as Braillers and CCTV) and their usage. Subject experts, teachers, and mobility-orientation specialists shared their knowledge and experience regarding effective teaching methods and strategies for blind students.
We sincerely thank the school administration and staff for organizing such a fruitful educational tour!
