On October 19, at the Ilia Chavchavadze House-Museum, a conference titled “A Common Vision for Inclusive Education” was held for special education teachers, school administrations, and parents. The event was organized by the Kvareli Educational Resource Center, the Association of Special Education Teachers, “Consort Georgia,” and Saint Andrews Georgian University.
The conference covered topics such as highlighting the role of the special education teacher, the importance of maintaining a professional portfolio, the use of artificial intelligence in education, and strategies for implementing assistive technologies for students with communication difficulties.
Once again, the discussion emphasized the importance of a clear and unified vision among special education teachers and school administrations in the process of developing and implementing inclusive education.
We would like to express our gratitude to the administration of the Ilia Chavchavadze House-Museum for their kind hospitality.
