On June 11, students of the Special Teacher Education Programme at St. Andrew’s Georgian University visited LEPL Tbilisi Public School N202 as part of a study visit.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the educational environment created for blind and visually impaired learners and to raise awareness of inclusive education and social integration practices.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore learning materials, assistive technologies, and educational resources designed for blind and visually impaired students, as well as learn about their practical application in the learning process.
Experts in the field, including subject teachers and orientation and mobility specialists, shared their professional knowledge and experience regarding effective teaching methods and strategies for supporting blind and visually impaired learners.
