In this interview we introduce you Nino Mzhavanadze, a successful graduate of SANGU, who contributes to the introduction of an inclusive education system in our country. After completing Bachelor’s degree, she did an internship at the Center for Neurodevelopment, majoring in Language and Speech Therapy, where she interacted with students with special educational needs.
In today’s diverse world, inclusive education ensures the equal involvement of individuals of different abilities in the educational process to meet one of the fundamental human rights - the right to education. Based on the analysis of the practice of inclusive education, we can say that inclusive education in Georgia is a priority and is aimed at creating an equally accessible and non-segregated environment for all children.
Online learning remains a major challenge at this point, which is why Nino, like the entire education system, face a major challenge. Increased distance from social relationships. It is necessary to work with SEN students individually as well as in face-to-face teaching in order to accurately identify the student's needs and attitudes.
The years that she spent at SANGU became the best experience of her life. She sincerely believes that the knowledge gained at the university turned out to be the solid foundation on which she began to build her further professional knowledge.
