Discover Your Profession: Lawyer
As part of the “Discover Your Profession” project, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University invites 9th–12th grade students to attend a training session on March 13, 2025, at 17:00, designed to introduce them to the legal profession and help guide their career decisions.
The training will be led by Ketevan Khurtsilava, who will cover key topics such as:
- The role and specifics of a lawyer’s work – professional functions and work environment
- Work processes and responsibilities – case management, client relations, and court procedures
- Essential skills and competencies – critical thinking, negotiation techniques, and analytical approaches
- Steps to becoming a lawyer – stages of legal education, internships, and the licensing process
- Principles of professional ethics – ethical standards and accountability in the legal field
The training is open to students in grades 9 through 12.
