On March 4, 2025, at 12:00, Natia Sadgobelashvili, Director of the Library at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University, conducted a training session on the topic: “How to Write an Academic Text?!”
The training covered the fundamental principles of academic writing. The speaker introduced participants to the process of selecting a research topic, the importance of a well-formulated title, and how to craft it effectively. The session also explored the structure and components of the introduction, methods for finding academic sources, and the principles of building the main body of a paper.
Participants gained practical knowledge on paraphrasing, quoting, and citation rules. The session emphasized how to write effective conclusions, maintain proper academic style, and avoid plagiarism. Practical exercises were included to help students apply the theoretical knowledge in practice.
The training was especially beneficial for graduating students, as well as for those involved in academic conferences and research projects. At the end of the session, participants received certificates.
