On March 28, SANGU hosted a seminar titled "Tools for Safeguarding Academic Integrity," led by Tamar Khakhutashvili, founder of “Association for Scientists.”
The seminar covered the concept of academic integrity, the StrikePlagiarism system for detecting plagiarism, and its capabilities for identifying texts generated by artificial intelligence. Participants were also introduced to the services offered by the “Association for Scientists,” including an electronic journal platform, DOI assignment, access to scientific literature, and an open digital repository.
The seminar was attended by professors, administrative staff, and final semester students. Events like this contribute to raising awareness and enhancing practical knowledge in the field of academic ethics.
