In order to enhance student-centered teaching, an intensive multi-day training was held at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University for the academic and invited staff of the Computer Science Program.
During the training, participants explored modern teaching approaches and techniques, mechanisms for effective communication with students, strategies for increasing motivation, support practices, and ways to build a trustworthy and supportive learning environment. The sessions also included opportunities for experience sharing and working on practical tasks through interactive discussions.
The training was led by Maia Inasaridze — Assistant Professor at the University and Expert-Consultant in Georgian Language and Literature at the National Center for Teacher Professional Development. Both theoretical and practical parts were conducted under her guidance.
On April 11, 2025, upon completion of the training, participants received certificates — a further step towards professional development, enhancing qualifications, and strengthening a student-centered educational environment.
