On March 19, 2026, a large-scale online information and networking webinar will be held, organized by the European Commission. The event is dedicated to supporting representatives of the research and innovation sector from the Eastern Partnership countries.
The webinar aims to inform Georgian researchers and innovators about the future priorities and funding mechanisms of the European Union’s research and innovation framework programme — Horizon Europe. The following topics will be discussed during the webinar:
• Presentation of the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 Work Programme;
• Thematic priorities of strategic importance for the Eastern Partnership region (e.g., Artificial Intelligence in Science);
• The European Innovation Council (EIC) 2026 Work Programme;
• Special grant opportunities for so-called “Widening” countries;
• General overview of the upcoming 10th EU Framework Programme (FP10).
Participation in the webinar is recommended for researchers, academic staff, doctoral students, and administrative representatives working in the field of science.
