Seminar: Effective Use of International Research Databases

On 16 June 2026 at 15:00, a seminar will be held in the St. Ilia the Righteous Conference Hall, focusing on methods of information retrieval in international databases and the effective use of information in scientific research.

The seminar will address the application of bibliometric methods and explore opportunities for working with major international scientific databases, including Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, and Google Scholar.

Seminar Topics

• Opportunities for identifying bibliometric indicators in international scientific databases;
• Mechanisms for searching researcher productivity indices;
• Requirements and importance of creating a researcher profile;
• Managing researcher profiles in international databases.

The seminar will be led by Pikria Tsotskolauri, Associate Professor at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University.
